BeWILDermum’s Day
Moor at: Free 24-hour moorings at Horning Parish Staithe, or Richardson’s customers can moor free at Horning Ferry Marina*.
Easily accessible from Horning is BeWILDerwood. Never one to miss when boating in Norfolk, the adventure play park is hosting a BeWILDermum’s Day, where mum’s go free! As well as the adventure play equipment that both mum and kids can play on, there’s craft making workshops for the children to make some homemade gifts, as well as put their Mum’s name up on the Mother’s Day wall of honour to show their her just how much they care!
Bure Valley Railway VIP Day
Moor at: free Broads Authority 24-hour moorings on the Coltishall side of the bridge
If you think your mum deserves to sit back and chill out then this might be the ticket! The historic Bure Valley Railway makes its way through 9-miles of beautiful Norfolk countryside, from Wroxham to Aylsham and back again. When arriving at Aylsham you will receive a complimentary drink, and enjoy a two-course lunch before returning to Wroxham. Each Mum also receives a small gift with lunch!
Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden Mother’s Day Walk
Moor at: South Walsham outer broad by mud weight (the inner broad is restricted to cruising)
If your mum likes the wildlife Norfolk has to offer, then Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden’s Mother’s Day walk is perfect. Led by the Head Gardener, the walk winds its way through a beautiful garden of yellow, with primrose and daffodils (and a primrose for mum!). Included in garden entry, this is a relaxed Mother’s Day activity.
Wroxham Barns’ Mother’s Day

Wroxham Barns has a wide range of activities to please not just mum but the rest of the family. With arts and crafts workshops for the kids, and shopping for mum, this is a great all-round Mother’s Day out! There’s a special Mother’s Day Lunch, and a chance to make a personalised gift in the Made By You Studio.
