Did you know…?
- There are currently 319 boats in our fleet – but we used to have 750. Our fleet was rumoured to be the second-largest in the world, only rivalled by the RNLI.
- Our most popular boat is the Broadsman.
- 45% of all our customers have booked with us before, and 15% holidayed with us the previous year.
- Approximately 7,000 holidays are booked with us every year.
- January is the most popular month to book a holiday with us.
- Most holidays with us are taken from June to September.
- There are, on average, six passengers booked on each trip.
- Clive bought vintage boat Broads Venture three years ago, in order to restore it. The boat was originally built by Mr Richardson in 1965!
- There have never been any weddings held on one of our boats, but a service has been held on Heron Quay.
- Celebrities that have holidayed with us include Princess Anne, Cliff Richard, Jarvis Cockier and Michael Elphick.
