We’re pleased to announce that our first brand-new boat for 2017, the Commander, has been launched for the first time! Taking her first dip in the Broads this morning at our Stalham Marina, the Commander is the newest addition to our Platinum Fleet at Richardson’s Boating Holidays, and is built on-site by our dedicated boat building team.

Available to hire from 26th May 2017, the Commander design is similar to the Commodore which was new in 2015, including a large upper sundeck with dual steering, as well as an electric winch for the mudweight, plus electric sunroof over the salon. There are also modern comfort features such as a DVD player, microwave, and warm air heating and radiator heating.
Commander has some different features to Commodore, including movable scissor berth in the forward cabin, meaning the boat can have multiple sleeping configurations – either 4 double, 3 double and 2 single, or 2 double and 4 single. The interior design is also updated, meaning our Commander boat has a more modern and stylish look inside.
