The Fritton Arms is a true country inn set inside 80 acres of rolling parkland featuring the largest natural lake in Suffolk.

The restaurant offers a daily changing menu complemented by a diverse specials board and a bar to match the menu featuring over 100 artisan spirits. There are nine rooms inside, making Fritton the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It is as much a place to go for coffee by the fire with your dog as it is a seven course tasting menu.

  • Slow-braised pheasant with pearl barley and root vegetable broth, black pudding and apricot scone.
  • Seared fillet of mackerel with mackerel and Granny Smith tartare, smoked apple puree, beetroot sorbet and horseradish cream.
  • Tasting of Somerleyton estate roe deer: leg Schnitzel, slow-braised shoulder suet pudding and seared loin with tarragon scented carrots, savoy cabbage parcel, game jus, blackberry puree and Turkish delight.
  • Poached stone fruit with rosemary and lavender syrup, Devonshire cream, micro tarragon, rose petals and almond biscotti.

The White Swan
