Where to Take the Dog in Suffolk: Beccles
Family and dog friendly, the Bear & Bells pub in Beccles is a 16th century pub, just outside of the town centre. Just 5 minutes from the riverside, this is a great place to consider when looking where to take the dog in Suffolk. If it’s just a drink you’re after, then enjoy the pub’s traditional bar and lounge, and if it’s food then there’s a separate dining area – you can choose the space that suits your mood. The pink pub also has an outside seating area if your dog prefers the great outdoors, with a large wine list as well as quality cask ales and lagers. From light bites to Sunday Roasts, as well as a children’s menu, this is a great family and dog friendly pub.
Beccles also has great walking routes, with 3 trails to choose from. The Beccles Marsh trail has a series of walks to explore areas of the grazing marsh on the outskirts of Beccles. The marsh trails are a variety of lengths, from 1 mile to 5 miles. Remember to keep dogs on leads to protect local wildlife.
